(Otoplasty)
Otoplasty is a procedure which corrects protrusion of the ears and thus moves the ears closer to the head. The surgery to correct protruding ears is performed in an outpatient surgery center and involves the use of light sedation.
Torn earlobes as a result of earrings can also be repaired easily in the office. Most patients have no pain afterwards and the ear can be re-pierced in the office in about six weeks.
Tears in the earlobe area due to stretching can also be performed in the office.
