Hair Loss Treatment -

Treatment of hair loss on the scalp may be medical or surgical, and at times both types of treatments are used.

Medical treatment consists of using a medicine called Propecia, which is taken once a day. Propecia has been shown to give significant hair growth in many patients. It can only be used in men however. Propecia is a prescription medication but it can be purchased through our office.

Surgical treatment of hair loss consists of hair transplantation. Dr. Echavez can advise you on this procedure, but no longer performs these operations.
